Mission Accomplished!
So, flying by the seat of her pants, as usual, living on a prayer, Anne Gagné escaped the evil clutches of the pharmaceutical drug industry and biked to Ontario on an electric fat-bike towing a newly refurbished trailer. The plans had been to give the bike and trailer to her cousin Quinn Avery, but after misjudging the width of the trailer for passing through the TransCanada Trail’s gates, a phone call for help revealed that Quinn’s parents were against accepting the gift. So having had to unload the trailer, lift it up on its side and forcibly pull the trailer and prostrating bike through approximately 40 or 50 gates, reloading each time, it was fortunate that a certain Luc Gagné appeared in Ottawa at a Tim Horton’s and accepted the challenge of starting a 40$/ hour career in bike moving. Super happy to have been the recipient of such a fine gift by a stranger, Luc rode off into the noon sunshine and Anne was able to return by train to husband Mathieu before heading by bus to several health conferences in Texas and Arizona. Unexpected outcome, but mission accomplished! 🙂
